Cantor Mark Perman comes to TKE from Temple Beth Am in Parsippany, New Jersey. He officiated at his first Shabbat service on July 29th, 2005. "I'm looking forward to life in Atlanta and becoming a part of such a warm and supportive community. Temple Kol Emeth is a vibrant place with a strong spiritual energy and a commitment to tikun olam (healing of the world). I feel very lucky to be here and to be a part of TKE's future," said Cantor Perman. "Cantor Perman has the right blend of talent, fresh ideas, hands-on experience and a great personality. When he came to visit I could see how he connected with the adults and children alike. I am truly excited about working with him," said Rabbi Steve Lebow, TKE’s senior rabbi. A graduate of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, School of Sacred Music in New York, Cantor Perman has served in a variety of chaplaincy and pulpit positions throughout the New York metropolitan area.
