Would you like to see some more adult-ed classes offered at TKE? The adult
education committee of TKE was recently formed to consider various options
for adult ed. at the Synagogue. We would like to hear from you as far as
what kinds of classes you would like to see available here. Some ideas that
are being considered are:
- "Jewish Spirituality, from Kabbalah to Meditation"
Did you know that
Judaism has a vibrant and eclectic spiritual history? It's not your old
fashioned (dull) approach to Judaism any more.

- " Why be Jewish?"
In today's world we can choose to be and practice
whatever our heart desires. What is it about Judaism that offers a
compelling alternative for those who have found themselves religiously and
spiritually disenfranchised?

- "The Music of Shabbat"
Cantor Perman will teach a class on the melodies
and prayers of the Friday Night Liturgy. Now you can follow the services
more closely and feel prepared to join in on all the prayers that might have
seemed unfamiliar.

- "Intermediate Judaism"
For those who already have some background and want
to deepen and broaden their Jewish knowledge.
