Hello Everyone. 

We have great news from the Habitat Build site!  We are complete through the 4th weekend of build activities and have the house right on schedule.  In the last two weeks, we stood the rest of the walls, set roof trusses and have about half the shingles installed.  The exterior plywood is on and all the windows are installed as well. 

The upcoming September 10th and 11th build dates are going to be exciting with over 20 TKE volunteers signed up to participate.  Anyone who wants to sign up and help or just come by to see the excitement shouldn't miss this opportunity.  Since I can’t list everyone that has participated so far, I would encourage you to go to the Cobb/Smyrna Habitat web site at www.schc.e-secondstar.com to see all your TKE friends sweating and having a good time all for a good cause.
