Camp Scholarships & Financial Assistance
A guide to making camp affordable!
The Temple Kol Emeth community recognizes the value of a child attending a Jewish summer camp. These experiences become a Jewish foundation - giving kids a chance to make Jewish friends, learn Jewish values, and experience Jewish life that stays with them as they grow into Jewish adults.
We know that Jewish summer camp is expensive - and sending your child is a recognition of its value to you and your child. There are programs that can assist you in putting Jewish summer camp within your means. We encourage you to apply for all sources of aid as soon as possible. Together, we hope that you can put together a fabulous summer for your child!

Financial Aid offered directly from the camp:
Each camp has its own system in place to provide assistance for families interested in sending their kids to camp. Below is a list of camps and their methods. If your camp is not on the list, visit your camp’s website.
Camp Scholarships available through TKE:
TKE has several different funds that support our youth - and these funds all support the goal of helping to send your child to a URJ-affiliated Jewish summer camp. These funds come from donors in our community who support the Irv & Rita Lebow URJ Camp Scholarship Fund as well as the L’Dor Vador Fund sponsored by the Women of Reform Judaism at TKE.
For the 2025 camp season, we anticipate posting our internal application in early January.
If you have questions about TKE's camp scholarships, please contact Rachel Barich.
We anticipate notifying families about their camp scholarships from TKE by late February/early March.
