The Men's Club Speaker series brings in distinguished speakers to address subjects that spark interest, debate, and insightful learning. On February 23, at 9:30am, we welcome Doug Pisik of PisikWood.

He is going to talk about staring a new business in general and then talk about entering the Art world. “Starting Your Own Business: Moving from Corporate Life to Full-Time Artist” Doug Pisik is an award winning artist whose work has been shown in over a dozen museum exhibitions, is sold in numerous galleries and at the High Museum of Art, and has spoken at a number of events and interviews about his work including NPR and BusinessRadioX.

During this presentation Doug will be talking about:

• How he assessed the risks associated with moving to self-employment

• How he started his business

• His day-to-day life as an artist

• How he comes up with original ideas and designs

There will be plenty of time to ask questions and provide your own input during this interactive presentation.
