Family Promise
Volunteers are the heart and soul of TKE and Family Promise of Cobb County; we need you now more than ever! Family Promise of Cobb County helps families who are homeless and have minor children. The goal of Family Promise is to provide families with basic needs for up to 90 days while they work and save 50-80% of their income towards future housing.
We are looking forward to welcoming Family Promise to the Doc Lebow Center December 17-24! We expect to be hosting two to three families. Since we are hosting around Christmas, we will add touches to make the week special. We will decorate and provide some fun activities and holiday meals.
Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, cooking meals, and staying overnight. Family Promise provides training for all volunteers who interact with the families. For first-time volunteers or those who haven't volunteered in a while, we ask that you participate in the upcoming training session ahead of our Family Promise Week.
Please join us for this special and meaningful volunteer opportunity!
Ready to volunteer during our May 12-19 week? Need to attend the training session on Saturday, May 5, at 2:00 p.m. at the DLC?
