Outreach to Interfaith & Jews by Choice

From our inception, Temple Kol Emeth was founded as a reform synagogue that was welcoming to all individuals. This is especially true of our interfaith families and those who have chosen to become Jewish. Interfaith issues impact entire families. Grandparents, parents and children all face challenges posed by differing religions and cultures. The most important thing to remember is that you are not alone. We are here to serve as a resource for you and your extended family.

The most important resources are our clergy, Rabbis Foster and Alter. Both have years of experience engaging interfaith families and supporting individuals choosing to be Jewish. Rabbi Foster was raised in an interfaith family, spent five years working for a Jewish organization supporting interfaith families, and has been published by the Reform Movement on this topic.

There are many websites that can provide you with information about Judaism and Jewish traditions. Here is a sampling that we hope you will find helpful.
